Rainy Day Fun with Kids in San Luis Obispo!

Rainy Day Fun with Kids in San Luis Obispo!

ONE // Escape the rainy day blues at Pipsticks. It’s hard to be gloomy surrounded by rainbows and kitten stickers. Open craft hours mean you can create + craft with your little ones without destroying the house. Yay! 1239 Monterey Street SLO

TWO // With reading nooks, computers, foosball and weekly story times, we love the recently remodeled Children’s Department at the San Luis Obispo Library! And really, is there anything better than a good book on a rainy day? Wait yes, FREE good books on a rainy day! 995 Palm Street SLO

THREE // Kids literally climbing all over the furniture? Get them climbing at The Pad Climbing SLO instead! With levels for kid beginners to experts, our whole family had a blast at this indoor rock climbing gym. A day pass is $20 for adults and $12 for kids and under 3 are free. 888 Ricardo Court SLO

FOUR // Let creativity bloom at the  newly remodeled San Luis Obispo Children’s Museum in downtown SLO. With so much imaginative play, they can explore, create, and dress-up (and bonus: you don’t have to clean up!).  1010 Nipomo St

FIVE // Bring a coloring book and catch those coffee shop vibes. Pre-kids I loved whirling away the hours with a cappuccino. Now, I bring a coloring book for the little one (and sometimes myself!). Hot cocoa for him and a mocha for me at Scout Coffee Co // 880 Foothill SLO

Still going stir crazy? Channel your inner-kid and put on some rain boots and splash in the puddles! With an average of 287 sunny days per year, we’ll be back to blue skies and sunshine soon enough. 😉
